Jay Thompson (AUS/Gold Coast/Burleigh Heads) surfed a great opening round heat at the Drug Aware Pro at Margaret River today. In excellent waves Thompson easily won his heat defeating Nathan Yeomans (USA). GO THE BOTSWANNA!! HAS TO DO WELL AFTER MISSING THE SICKEST SESSIONS AT THE POINT!!!
