A huge congratulations to Burleigh Boardriders members Lucy and Nick Callister on making the Qld Team to compete in the Australian Junior Titles in December in Tasmania. Guided by exceptional talent and Burleigh Boardrider super coach Kyle “Dvex” “Jack Gibson of Surfing” Robinson, hard training and commitment have given these kids what they deserve. The first Burleigh Boardriders to contest the National Titles since Thomas Woods and Jay “Bottle” Thompson, there is proof in the pudding of Burleigh Boardriders Junior Development program.
Also a big congrats to Kaya Horne who as a spring chicken made the top 4 in the under 14’s, but narrowly missed out on making the Qld Team…. A great effort many years to build, and also the irrepressable Maddy Job who placed 5th in the under 14 division as well… Look out here comes BHBC!!!!!!!!!!
