It used to be OK if you had Kids <18 but it seems the rules have changed – more work for civil servants.
Spot checks are in progress at events/meetings
I have ordered the application forms for the next meeting
If you have been convicted of a “Disqualifying” offence etc. you will not get one and your membership activities would be curtailed
We have a risk management strategy in place where all members who take part in child related activities are recorded – part of the membership register
