Maddy Job was on fire all weekend, winning every heat he went in including the final. With that result Maddy placed 3rd in Queensland in the under 16 division, and with Hinata Aizawa placing 4th on Sunday wrapped up 4th place in Queensland, and a spot with Maddy in The Queensland Team to go to the Australian Junior Titles in November this year.

Our sunshine smiling super-girl. Lucy Callister placed 3rd in the second round of the Queensland Titles Under 18 girls, this going with her 2nd place in the first round, Lucy ended up 2nd in Queensland, and just missing out on the wildcard to the Roxy Pro Trials. Lucy will also be off to the Australia Junior titles in November and will be primed, as the boys will be to bring home an Australian Junior Title to Burleigh.
The last one to do that was Jay “Bottle” Thompson, so come on groms it’s your turn!!!
Honourable mentions to Toby Mossop and Liam O’Brien who made the semi-finals and were close to making the Queensland team for the under 18 boys. Great effort from all the groms who competed!!
