Burleigh Boardriders gathered last Sunday at Point Break Restuarant to honor and induct Edward Lindores and Jay “Bottle” Thompson as life members of Burleigh Heads Boardiders Club. Members family and friend were there to honor the lads as were quite a few of the current Life Members.
Also Edward Lindores was presented with the keys and sign for the new Burleigh Boardriders Clubroom, a personal crusade of Edward’s with great help from Donna-Maree Wilson and Alderman Greg Betts. Also the clubs honor board was also unveiled to all those present.
AN excellent night with Bottle flying back from Newcastle, unaware of his life membership, thinking he was flying back to present Edward with his life membership, and Edward having a secret kept from him the first time ever, completely surprised, thinking it was all about Bottle….
Well done, well deserved…
