Not brilliant results but some solid showings for the Burleigh Juniors in the 2nd round of the 2009 Arnette Junior Titles. In the Under 18 Boys we had 3 Competitors, Thomas Woods, Gene Thompson, & Hamish Whillians.
Day 1 was a good day for the Burleigh lads, Thomas Woods picking up the highest score of the day, and Hamish Whillans winning his heat from Mitch Dugaan to progress to the quarter finals, Gene Thompson with a sold second place to get into the quarters as well.

The quarter finals saw mixed fortunes for the lads Hamish ending up 3rd place in the quarters going down to eventual winner Jack Freestone & Mitch Duggan, Geno ending up with Clubmate Thomas Woods winning His quarter and getting 3rd to Josh Sherwell of the Sunshine Coast.
Thomas Woods ended up equal 5th, 3rd in his semi-final to Jack Freestone and Tim McDonald who eventually placed 1st and 2nd respectively.
Good stuff boys better luck next time you represented well!
